Bret R. Landess

Bret Landess focuses on defending tort claims, including products and premises liability and medical malpractice claims. His practice includes all phases of tort claim resolution, from pre-litigation strategy to appellate advocacy. Bret joined Oium Reyen & Pryor in January of 2003. He was admitted to the California Bar in December of 2002.

Bret graduated from University of California, Hastings College of the Law in San Francisco in 2002. While attending law school, Mr. Landess served as a judicial extern in the United States District Court, Northern District of California for the Honorable D. Lowell Jensen (2001) and was a member of the West-Northwest Journal of Environmental Law And Policy (2000-2001). Mr. Landess received his undergraduate degree in Political Science from the University of Oregon in 1996, with departmental honors.

Mr. Landess is admitted to practice before California state and federal courts. He is an active member of the Association of Defense Counsel of Northern California and Nevada and a member of the American Bar Association.
